Mushrooms

Portuguese children learned a lot about mushrooms...Now we know that they are fungus, not plants , and that there are many kinds of it; some of them are dangerous, others can be eatten; they grow specially in the forests but small ones grew in our vegetable garden; Ewa loves to pick them in the Polish forests and sent to us many photos with mushrooms.

Surprises from Poland

In October 2007 the portuguese children received a package from the polish children. So many beautiful surprises! Several images from Bydgoszcz, polish candies, images from a Dino Park, an ancient train, a book about a traditions'park, and dried mushroms that the portuguese children had never seen.

A Portuguese song

Here is a Popular Portuguese song; it is called "Milho Verde" (Green corn). It's from the north of the country (Minho), where there are many corn fields, because there is much water everywhere. Zeca Afonso sings it with only one musical instrument: "adufe" a portuguese musical instrument, from arabic origin. The Small Journalists loved this song!

Birds' game

In the Portuguese vegetable garden, children found a little bird on the ground...They treated him well, gave him seeds and water, and after some time, they set him free in the forest, again . Graça's son (Tomás) found a nice game in the net about this theme...
See if you can put all the birds at the right side's nest, but respecting the order from the bigger to the smaller bird on the top.
Zajęły się nim dobrze, dały mu nasiona i wodę, po jakimś czasie zaniosły go do lasu. Graca syn (Tomasz) znalazł w internecie fajną grę na ten temat.
Zobacz jeśli chcesz włożyć wszystkie ptaki do poprawnych gniazd, przestrzegając porządku od największego do najmniejszego na szczycie.

We love music!

The Music has no frontiers! We all love music even if we do not understand its words. Through music, we can feel emotions and sensations, that makes us feel good and alive!
The Portuguese Small Journalists enjoyed specially these two songs that the Polish friends sent to them.
Now they can listen to it again and again, even when they are in Summer Holidays.

So good to have Friends!

To all our Friends, we dedicate this Portuguese song that says ."To have Friends is so good!". Nothing else so true!

Presents from Poland!

A few days before Summer holidays, the Small Journalists received another package from Poland with many surprises, which they enjoyed a lot!
This exchange of presents make children feel they really have friends in Poland! Friends who love to give us presents, as well as we do.
Friends with whom we share what we are living and learning, to whom we show beautiful things from our country, as well as they do.
With the eTwinning project, all this is possible, and much more to come...!

Friendship's hearts

So far away, and yet, so near from our friends in Poland!
We wanted to make a surprise for them, so we began working hard, in order to make one red heart with the initial letter of their names, for each one of them .

Now they were ready to travel until Poland and make our Friends happy!
